A winter Scene

So these are some shots I took about a week ago. I spent about an hour at two local beaches taking a few shots. There was a pretty good mist on the lake from the difference in air/water temperature for about a week. Should have been there about 3 days earlier to get more of the effect but I'm fairly happy with them.

Ducks for Lunch

So you might be thinking that I had duck for lunch... maybe with a nice orange sauce. But no that's not the case. I had spent my lunch our at the beach shooting (with my Nikon) various subjects. These aren't technically the best photo's but I liked them enough to share. The light was terrible (harsh being the middle of the day) with hard reflection off the lake (I live and work near a lake nice!!). Was shooting on Manual I think about 1.5 stops overexposed from what my meter (matrix) was telling me. It's amazing how different the water looks all because of the difference in angle from the sun.
